Collapse the Ribbon: Ctrl + F1

Quick access to help: F1

Right-click on the status bar to edit the add/delete buttons

I. File operations

New file

Ctrl+N or the Quick Access Toolbar in the upper left corner can create a new file.

To create a new template, click the File tab, New – Template.

To customize the template, you need to find the template folder of the current word and save the template file you want to customize in it.Right-click to delete the custom template.

Save Document

Ctrl + S or the Quick Access Toolbar in the upper left corner will do.

Tab-File-Options can set auto save.

Tab – File – Save As, you can save as a file.

Tab-File-Info, unsaved documents can be recovered.

Open Document

Ctrl+O or the Quick Access Toolbar in the upper left corner.

Close document

Tab-File-Close, or upper right corner, or bottom tab, or Alrt+F4

Select text

Drag with the left mouse button.

Select a word: Double-click with the cursor.

Select a sentence: Click on the sentence with the cursor, hold down Ctrl and click the sentence again.

Select a row: Move the mouse to the left, the mouse mark in the opposite direction will appear, and then click.

Select a paragraph: Move the mouse to the left, the mouse icon in the opposite direction appears, then double-click.Or click the content of the paragraph three times.

Select multiple areas that are not adjacent: Hold down Ctrl to select.

Select vertical text: Hold down the Alt key and drag the mouse.

Select a large continuous block of text: Click the cursor at the start position, hold down Shift, and click at the end position.

Select the entire document: Move the mouse to the left, the mouse icon in the opposite direction appears, then triple-click.

copy paste

Click this icon in the ribbon to open the clipboard on the left side of the document.The clipboard can hold 24 items, including items that are not in word.If more than 24 items are copied, the oldest copied item is deleted.

The text pasted from the web page may have hyperlinks, just need the paste option in the stand-alone ribbon – paste special, don’t choose HTML paste, choose plain text paste.There are other formats of paste format.

The format brush can be brushed once by clicking it once, and it can be brushed multiple times by clicking it twice.Ctrl+Shift+C to open.

Protect Document

Tab-File-Information, you can set the document password.

Remove personal information from document

Tab – File – Information – Check the document, you can see whether there is personal information such as the author, and you can also delete it.

Spelling grammar check

Red: misspelling

Blue: Context error

Green: Syntax error.

Tab-File-Options-Proofing can cancel spelling error checking.

After the document is written, tab – Review – Spelling and Grammar Check, you can check the full text.

Print

Tab-File-Print, set printing details.
